It should be on ESPN at 8:30am this Tuesday, and I’ve been really looking forward to it. However, don’t have a TV in my apartment, and I seriously doubt the ability of my already slow and flaky internet to reliably broadcast an online streaming channel that isn’t reliable with the best of internet. American football games aren’t often shown in Bangkok, but does anyone know a sports bar or somewhere that would probably be showing the game at that early hour of the morning?

I’m guessing I might have to go to Khao San. Any better ideas?

Years ago they used to broadcast part of this famous two-week dogsled racing event on Wide World of Sports or something like that, on a broadcast network, over two different weekends. A few years ago I saw part of it on maybe the Discovery Channel or National Geographic Channel.
Now it seems there is no tv coverage anywhere. Other than online streaming and blogging, does anyone know where some tv coverage of the Iditarod can be found?
